Interpreting with ‘Head Over Wheels’ theatre company
On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June I had the pleasure of interpreting for the ‘Head Over Wheels’ theatre company for their show, ‘Mummy, What’s Wrong With That Man’s Legs?’
The company were performing at Oxford University’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities. The show involved two performers, finding out about each other and working together to explore accessibility. It involved lots of drumming from Jonny and dancing from Aine.
The award-winning disabled-led theatre company tells stories through unique aerial choreography and innovative design. This show featured scaffolding, drum kits, ramps and upside-down wheelchairs! It was a wonderful experience to work with everyone involved and have the chance to interpret on stage.
